Our Mission
Accelerate the Great Commission through Smarter Generosity.
At Cru Foundation, we have seen a variety of financial, personal and tax-related issues. We aim to assist you in crafting a clear and concise strategy that places your values at the forefront, prioritizes your family's well-being, and fulfills your desire to make a difference for Christ across the globe.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
– Hebrews 13:16
Our Story
Supported by the Trusted Legacy of Cru.
When you collaborate with Cru Foundation, you are supported by the full ministry strength of Cru and its rich spiritual heritage. Your trust is important to us and we work hard to earn it. Confidential information you choose to share with us is maintained exclusively within the Foundation.
While we want you to feel empowered to explore the many diverse and effective ministries of Cru, we sincerely support ALL of your giving activities, both to Cru, your church, and nearly anywhere else. As your partner in giving, we are eager to help you in creating more stories of God’s transformative work in the world through your generosity.
Accountability FAQs
Some of our team are missionary staff with Cru who raise the funds to cover the cost of their salaries and benefits. Others are employees of Cru. Our board members do not receive compensation related to their board service, though some are missionary staff of Cru who raise support and are paid according to Cru’s missionary pay structure. Most importantly, staff compensation is never based on what you give, where you give or how much.
By administrative fees, we mean fees originating with and charged by Cru Foundation just for having a Great Commission DAF account. Like the other ministries of Cru, Cru Foundation is centrally funded, so we do not have to raise revenue to fund our core operations. However, we do pass along third-party charges, such as credit card processing fees and investment advisory fees. We publish our fee schedule and seek to be fully transparent on the costs related to making gifts through Cru Foundation.
Our resources and services are founded on the principles of integrity and transparency. We hold ourselves to the highest levels of Christian stewardship as members of the ECFA.
